Duties and Responsibilities: 

The IT Business Specialist provides leadership, oversight, facilitation and support for corporate and department business initiatives including but not limited to the following: Sarbanes Oxley compliance, Supplier Diversity Initiative, Post Event Assessments, Client Satisfaction Survey, IT Contractor Services process, ITS Scorecards, IT benchmarking, and Service Level Agreements. The position works on activities of diverse scope where analysis of the situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of organizational policies, practices and objectives. The position will work with IT leaders and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and promote repeatable and sustainable processes in support of IT business objectives.

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant IT or business support experience. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to analyze data, draw relevant conclusions and recommend improvement actions, as well as the demonstrated ability to maneuver through complex political situations effectively. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to interact with all levels of management and employees in a professional and friendly manner, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced and ambiguous environment is required. Knowledge of and experience with process design methodologies is a plus.
