Automated Software Tester

As Software Test Automation Analyst l, you will work as part of Trisept Solutions’ Quality Assurance Team carrying out automated processes and procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards of quality and end-user requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable writing and testing in WCF Services in VB.NET.

Duties & Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and executes automated integration, regression and system tests for the software and applications developed by Trisept Solutions. Documents, communicates, and facilitates correction of defects discovered during the project life cycle, working directly with the developers and project managers to ensure appropriate follow-through to resolution. Researches general travel industry e-commerce practices and specific back-end data needed to be an effective tester. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience. 1-2 years work experience is software testing or software development. 2+ years VB.Net development experience Knowledge of MS operating systems, multiple web browsers, and MS Office software. Knowledge of software quality assurance concepts Proficiency in one or more of; C#, VB, or VB.NET Written and verbal communication skills. Working both independently and collaboratively. Prioritizing projects and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines. Additional consideration given to candidates with: Prior applications automated testing experience in WinRunner, DOS Batch coding, or IBM’s Rational Functional Tester. Travel industry experience a plus. Relationships Cross functional team interaction and participation
