Position Summary
The Test Technician is responsible for validation of new and current products and processes into the production environment.

Responsibilities Validation of procedures & processes in manufacturing engineering lab and provide feedback to Test/Manufacturing Engineers Test/assembly verification Manufacturing Engineering Lab maintenance Troubleshoot/Repair F5 products Aid Engineers with the root cause analysis Production line support when necessary Software and hardware testing/validation
Qualifications AS or equivalent degree in related manufacturing discipline Minimum 2 years relevant work experience Experience in software / hardware testing Ability to troubleshoot and repair server class hardware Working knowledge of Excel and Word Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-starter with good time management skills Have a “hands-on” work attitude Able to troubleshoot sever class computers to subassembly level UNIX/Linux experience a strong plus Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment Able to lift 60 lbs. more than once
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties are performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material. Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, and may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (Evenings & weekends). Position may require up to 50% travel including some international travel. Requires the ability to able to lift 60 lbs.
