Job ID: 1186Location: Seattle, WADepartment: Managed ServicesEducation Required: Associates DegreeExperience Required: 1 - 3 YearsPosition Description: Working as a member of the Office of Information Technology - Client Services Support Team in support of the University community, the incumbent answers, evaluates, troubleshoots and prioritizes incoming user assistance requests from a number of sources. These requests may cover the installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrade of computer hardware and software as well as peripheral devices. Additionally, the support requests may be addressed via telephone, email or direct customer support.Position Requirements:Two or more years experience working as a support technician in a PC/Macintosh computing environment. A working knowledge of Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS 10 is necessary and demonstrable. Familiarity with Dell and Apple hardware is a requirement (current certification is a plus). Experience supporting the Microsoft Office Suite of products must be demonstrated. Strong oral and written communication skills are needed. Strong customer service skills via electronic, telephonic and in person delivery are required. As a member of the Office of Information Technology, assignments will include the technology support for Faculty and Staff across the entire Seattle University campus.
