General Responsibilities: Installations of surveillance systems (CCTV & IP) which may include: installation of cable & power supplies mount & focus cameras Installation of DVR & connecting to customers network Training customer on basic DVR software functionality Installations of access control systems which may include: installation of cable & power supplies installation of access control panels and various card/FOB readers configuring access control software Training customer on basic access control functionality Providing troubleshooting support for customer support calls.  Performing service visits as necessary Provide assistance with planning/designing of new or existing systems

 

Requirements: Exceptional customer service mindset Experience with installation of surveillance systems and access control systems a plus. Strong PC hardware & Microsoft Operating System (XP, Vista) configuration experience Microsoft certification a plus Strong understanding of PC memory, hard drive, DVD-R and video card configuration Ability to quickly understand new software technologies Good understanding of networking technology Strong customer facing and interpersonal skills  Self-starter, Quick Study, Critical Thinking, Proactive Approach, Team Player High school or GED equivalent with Associate (2 year) degree or technical school certification.  Also will consider someone working toward an Associate or bachelor degree who is interested in an internship / part time help. Bachelor degree a plus Can lift 50 pounds, walk up & down stairs, drive a vehicle Work Monday through Friday during regular business hours with some overtime as needed, (flextime available) Must have basic mechanical aptitude towards using hand tools such as drill, screw driver and crimpers.
