Embedded Developer (SDE) - C/C++, Mobile DevicesDescription: Embedded Developer for the Mobile and Embedded Division C/C++, WinCE, Mobile Devices, Embedded System Hardware DesignOur Client's OEM partners are working on the next generation of their mobile devices, These BSPs (Board Support Packages) will go on mobile and embedded devices of the future!This position will work as a Software Design Engineer – i.e. designing, developing and debugging low-level systems code for reference Board Support Packages (BSPs). The position will also work as part of a team while also working on individual aspects of the project.This candidate will work jointly with silicon vendors and create reference Board Support Packages (BSPs) that are adopted by OEMs for the next generation of their Mobile Devices. General Responsibilities:For the ideal candidate, day-to-day activities will include: A lot of debugging and direct partner relationship Writing BSP/driver code that enables the Mobile Device OS to run on a reference board or particular deviceWriting utilities and tools to help investigate and prevent performance and stability issues Educating OEM Partners on best practices and code improvementsAbout Our Client: The Software Giant, a well known Software Development Manufacturer, headquartered in Redmond, Washington, is committed to the long term mission of helping their customers realize their full potential.
