Data / Business Analyst

Omni Resources, Inc. in 1984 is dedicated to providing the highest quality information technology consulting services throughout the upper Midwest.  We are currently seeking an experienced Data / Business Analyst to work with our client in Milwaukee, WI. 

Description:
* Application analyst needed for the Information Systems Data Delivery work group.
* Work group manages data warehouse, data mart, relational, SQL, and UNIX technology environments.
* Duties will include a mix of large project, small project, and support application analyst responsibilities.

This individual will be responsible for working with the vendor to:
* Coordinate meetings
* Coordinate Communication & Status Reports
* Understanding & Analyzing the Data feeds

Skills:
* Strong requirements gathering and analysis of data stream / data record issues required.
* Must have strong communication skills, ability to coordinate with vendor, communicate status to various teams.

Knowledge & Experience Desired:
* Working knowledge of systems development methodologies, tools, standards, integrated business applications and industry best practices.
* Basic technical knowledge of data warehouse, data mart, relational, SQL, and UNIX desired.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, negotiation, coordination, and organizational skills are required.
* Flexibility; the ability to be responsive to changing business needs and technical requirements.
* Ability to handle concurrent assignments and effectively prioritize.
* Ability to work with sensitive data, while maintaining confidentiality and following security guidelines.
* Knowledge of investment business functions and associated operating requirements preferred.
