CAD Drafter/Designer II
CAD Drafter/Designer with 5-10 years of experience. Responsibilities include design document development of intelligent transportation system design and construction project/contracts. Position will be supported by design engineers to develop design plans for Virginia Department of Transportation construction projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project. Utlizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and toher physical sciences to complete drawings. Make any adjustments or changes as necessary or desired. Draws charts for representation of statistical data. Draws finished designs from sketches. Uses computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software, Microstation knowledge required.
Adobe Photoshop knowledge desired.
