The Business Analyst provides data and workflow analysis resulting in specifications for use by the various software development teams. This involves traditional analysis work: consultation and discussions with end users, workflow evaluation; data attribute identification; and associated technical documentation. The Business Analyst may also be called upon to leverage business knowledge in order to assist with other aspects of the SDLC such as testing, light-weight project management, training and deployment planning.

 

To be successful in this position must have strong understanding of requirements gathering, manual and automated testing, networking, and wireless technologies (GSM/3G?UMA/CDMA/802.11a/b/g/WiMax/WiFi, etc.).
