Systems Administrator/Desktop Support (full time) - Experience Required

Day-to-day responsibilities including, but not limited to:

·  Windows 2003 AD environment – admin experience (Group Policy)

·  Exchange Server 2003

·  Citrix Server

·  SQL Server 2005/2000 (Maintenance Plans)

·  VPN, Firewall policies, port forwarding, Application Publishing, TCP/IP

·  Server Hardware (RAID failure/recovery, Disaster Recovery)

·  Windows XP (deploying/updating OS images, troubleshooting applications)

·  Troubleshooting application issues

·  Hardware maintenance

·  Install and manage internal networks, IP addresses, firewalls, routers, subnets and other connection and security components

·  Setup, configure, and maintain network operating systems and e-mail systems

·  Provide technical support and introductory training for all network and PC users

·  Troubleshoot and fix network and end-user PC related problems

·  Support remote users via telephone

·  Ensure stability of network environment

·  Research software and tools to help increase productivity

 


Experience with:

·  Server and RAID setup

·  Terminal Server and Citrix Server

·  Switches

·  Firewall

·  Security: Anti-virus

·  Active Directory Services

·  VPN

·  Windows Server 2000/2003

·  Exchange server 2003

·  SQL Server

·  Tape Backups and restoration

·  MS Office

·  Excellent understanding of DNS, DHCP and Domain Controllers.

·  Solid experience with Active Directory/Group Policies

·  Previous experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Solutions.

·  Experience installing Blackberry Enterprise Server and maintaining Blackberry Devices

·  Rebuilding servers (rack-mount) and workstations

·  Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
