Senior Retail Analyst

Duties:

The Candidate will work closely with the Director of Retail Planning to develop forecasts, sell through projections and recommended stock allocations. The Candidate will help develop and maintain standardized reports. Candidate will manage sales data collection and assure data integrity. Candidate should be analytical and detail oriented. Leadership skills and a retail background required.

Other Responsibilities include: Oversee and manage report development progress with staff programmer. Document report usage Procedures.

Successful Candidates will Have: At least one year of experience as a buyer, assistant buyer or merchandise planner for a major retailer, department, specialty store, or mass merchant A thorough understanding of receipt flow, inventory levels, merchandise planning and allocation strategies Solid understanding of key performance indicators and elements that drive retail profitability and inventory productivity Proficient in Excel and Access Organizational and project management skills Strong analytical, organization and communication skills EDI experience is a strong plus
