Overview



Marcolin is searching for a skilled Senior Staff Accountant due to growth. Duties for this Senior Staff Accountant position include leading the general ledger close, month end close work, yearend work, reconciliation, journal entries, and overseeing accounts payable and cash functions. This position will also be heavily involved in all aspects of our Royalty agreements, Inventory control and Sales Rep commissions. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will work closely with various levels of management, auditors and accounting personnel as a member of our Corporate Finance department. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller to review testing results of accounting policies, procedures and internal and company guidelines. This is a hands-on position that requires an individual with a demonstrated ability to work independently and analyze, investigate and resolve accounting related issues with many internal and external contacts. The senior accountant will assist in updating accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. The senior accountant will also prepare various balance sheet reconciliations, prepare monthly accruals and perform various financial reporting and variance analysis. This person will assist in year-end audits and quarterly reviews performed by our independent auditors. This person will also assist in researching regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field - CPA a plus.

3 – 5 years relevant experience

Expertise in financial/ accounting software

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically excel

Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills,

Ability to work independently as well as interact well within a team environment is crucial to this position.

Ability and interest in working in a fun, fast paced and ever changing environment.
