Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Handling the vendor “set- up” process for new retailers in coordination with our Sales, Operations and Accounting Departments, including the processing of agreements, shipping samples, distributing policies, and performing customer follow-up. Serve as a liaison between Sales and inventory analysts at key national retailers to ensure accurate transmission of EDI purchase orders and balance stock around sensitive delivery dates.Assist in review of customer product mix resulting in increase sales and inventory turns.Providing ongoing domestic sales and marketing support functions, i.e., creating and maintaining price lists, sell sheets, product specifications, marketing research, developing marketing materials.  Maintaining Sales Representatives’ databases and calendars of appointmentsDistributing monthly sales reports and/or ad hoc reports to the Sales Team Disseminating compliance documentation to retailers including the retailer based MAPP (minimum advertising price policy). Provide assistance in costing analysis, account documentation and the establishment of procedures. Provide market research, analyze the data, and then report on the findings in support of Sales presentations.

Qualifications/Skills:
 BA or BS required A minimum of 2 years of relevant sales administrative experience is required.Strong skills in Microsoft Office is required, including Word, Excel, etc.Basic understanding of CRM software is a plus.Must have the ability to work in an environment where priorities change rapidly, therefore, you must have a proven ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.Must be able to work and communicate extraordinarily with cross-functional teams, both within the company and distributor/vendor network.A working knowledge of Retail Link is a plus.A basic understanding of the consumer products business is a plus.
