Paralegal

POSITION SUMMARY

 

This position will provide legal support services for real estate transactions and maintenance of various Company entities.

 

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED High School Diploma or GED/some college and Paralegal Certification preferred 3+ years experience in a legal/real estate or corporate environment Demonstrated attention to detail Strong computer skills Excellent verbal/written communication skills Strong analytical and research skills Ability to prioritize and demonstrate excellent time management

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  Form new entities, set up entity files, and qualify entities in foreign jurisdictions Review and prepare standard form legal documents Maintain permanent legal files for all real estate projects and entities Coordinate and prepare documents of dissolution or merger of entities and withdrawal of qualifications in foreign jurisdictions Work with outside counsel on special projects Assist legal coordinator on projects as needed.

 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure Work is performed indoors with no exposure to extreme heat/humidity
