RHODE ISLAND TEXTILE COMPANY is a leader in manufacturing, innovation, and sales to a wide variety of retail markets including Pet, Shoe Care, Foot Care and Apparel Care. We are engaged in global sourcing and importing as well as domestic production in our own US facilities. We are seeking an additional National Retail Sales Manager to accommodate our rapid growth and need to service new accounts.
The primary responsibility for this position will be to identify and drive new business in our Shoe Care, Foot Care, Apparel Care, & Pet Products lines across multiple sales channels.
Ideal candidate will have proven experience with the following:
· Ability to implement company directives and achieve sales plan
· Develop and grow national account base
· Successfully merchandise, market, & sell complete programs to new and existing accounts
· Provide accurate, timely forecasts for all assigned accounts
· Work seamlessly with management team to deliver sales results
· Provide market input on new products/programs
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual with Consumer Products experience who is ready for a challenge. If you:
· Can show proven success in selling to the Mass, Food, Drug, Mid-Tier, or Specialty markets
· Have experience in managing independent sales reps
· Are a driven individual with 5-10 years experience with Consumer Products Programs
· Excel at building relationships
· Can manage a fast paced workload
· Have outstanding references
