E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator
Triumph Apparel Corp/Danskin®, a well established branded active & dance wear company is currently seeking
Overview
The primary responsibility of this position will be to support VP, E-Commerce and Director, e-Commerce Marketing in site and growth and development. This includes managing day-to-day site content and promotional execution in support of company and online marketing initiatives. The E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects with internal staff and external partners. This position has a dual report to VP, E-Commerce and Director, e-Commerce Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Site Production /Merchandising: Support content creation, site production and web merchandising Manage site assets to ensure images and copy are received and processed for all Danskin catalogs in time for seasonal site launches; coordinate with third party copywriter, photographer and vendor. Coordinate with E-Commerce team to determine effective merchandising and marketing rules, plus additional opportunities Assist in development of site deliverables including images and copy Organize and process site assets into content management system Act as primary contact for onsite search engine, Mercado Coordinate with online marketing and PR to ensure a superior onsite customer experience.
Email: Assist in the merchandising (including product and photography selection) for email campaigns to support onsite promotions. Assist in planning and implementing testing strategies
Operations: Assist VP, e-Commerce in coordinating onsite efforts with remote customer service teams.
Reporting: Compile KPIs for responsibilities and suggest and implement strategies for sales growth.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following experience and proven ability to:
Must be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment
· Professional manner Work under deadlines with multiple people and departments Prioritize multi-level tasks Deep sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit Ability to see small projects through to completion Remain consistently organized with excellent attention to detail BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or other related field 2-4 years of e-Commerce experience, apparel experience preferred Strong ongoing interest in Online Shopping, eCommerce, and the Internet Retail industry. Understanding of online merchandising best practices and standards Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications Experience with HTML editors Working knowledge of Photoshop
