Chief Financial Officer for Manufacturing Company
Young, growing manufacturing company with 100 employees is looking for a CFO with the experience and motivation to lead the coordination of the accounting, financial analysis and budgeting efforts within our expanding organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare corporate financial statements, management reports, ad-hoc analysis, and general accounting reports using GAAP.
Review, develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures and establish and maintain appropriate internal financial control and safeguards.
Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas or opportunities for improved financial performance and efficiency.
Analyze cost variances in order to pinpoint spending trends in order to reduce costs.
Interact with auditors, maintain relationship with banks and outside financial institutions.
Oversee internal purchasing and sales departments and approve expenditures and quotas.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
CPA highly preferred. At least ten years experience in a senior level finance or accounting position.
Must have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably dealing with inventory and COGS and not just Import/Export/Distribution.
Must be computer savvy with the ability to pick up new accounting programs easily.
Auditing experience preferred. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
