Associate Trim Manager - Calvin Klein Jeans

Calvin Klein Jeans, a division of Warnaco Inc., has an exciting

opportunity for a talented Associate Trim Manager to join our production and product development team.  Since the introduction of the original Calvin Klein jean in 1978, Calvin Klein Jeans has been positioned as an authentic designer jeans brand known for innovative fit and unique details and denim treatments. Clean, effortless styling with an element of edginess is the essence of the brand. Calvin Klein Jeans has always been a driving force in the fashion industry and is famous for its memorable advertising and innovative denim designs.

 

We are seeking an experienced trim development and production

professional with a minimum of 3 to 5 years industry

experience.  As a Trim Manager you will be required to work

closely with design to initiate development of new trim programs

and be responsible for working directly with trim suppliers to

modify existing trim packages.  You will be expected to maintain

a current library of trim and sundry items (e.g. labels,

buttons, zippers, linings, etc…) to be utilized by design for

research, as well as to coordinate vendor meetings to initiate

seasonal development and ensure that all trims meet price and

quality standards. In addition, successful candidates must

demonstrate a strong technical understanding of trims and

possess superior negotiation abilities. We seek candidates

with strong organizational and communication skills, along with

a proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office

programs.
