The Associate Merchandiser position will play a key role in developing our wholesale business and interface with our senior Wholesale Sales Executives, NYC based sales force, and LA based designers.

 

In this role you will be working in our flagship NYC Showroom where we generate a large volume of our wholesale revenues.  You will regularly work with our high level wholesale executives, NYC based sales force, and LA based designers in order to 1) select an intelligent collection or product offering, 2) play a significant role in the procurement process to ensure that sufficient inventory levels exist to meet demand, and 3) to utilize the incoming sales analysis reports in order to adjust the collection with the goal of increasing sales and market share.

 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Maintain projections sheets on a daily basis, ie running reports, managing all changes/updates based on linesheets, delivery slides, price changes-then communicating those changes to sales team Work with sample coordinator to provide info to maintain sample orders and correct line, and to ensure samples arrive in a timely manner Work closely with planning to ensure style set up and projections always reflect correct buy. Assist sales in maintenance of all changes Communicate daily with LA merchandising assistants to track style changes Keep the line sheet folders accurate and up to date, updating sales of all style changes Analyze selling info and help prepare sku plans





 

MAJOR QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

 Must have strong organizational skills, and be outgoing (to work with the sales team) Must have previous buying experience, merchandising and other analytical experience Must be very proficient in Excel/familiar with AS400, MS Office. Excel is the most important Must have Bachelors degree Excellent communication and presentation skills
