Utility/PAS Operator

Perform and document all activities for assigned systems in accordance with approved guidelines and procedures. Conduct plant operations in a safe, environmentally sound, cost effective, and disciplined manner that protects the health and safety of the workers, the public, and the environment.

Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. AA degree in physical science is desired.
One year work experience in a demilitarization facility, chemical plant, nuclear or fossil power generating station, naval or maritime station, or other heavy industry.
Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings, diagrams, and operating instrumentation manuals.
Knowledge of basic chemistry principles (caustics, acids, pH, etc.)
Experience in a toxic/hazardous environment desirable.
Ability to operate pumps, blowers and particulate baghouse.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain CPRP certification.
Ability to obtain and maintain CPRP certification.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
