Senior International Tax Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist in estimating and computing the US foreign tax credit and in preparing Form 1118.
· Demonstrate and apply theoretical and practical knowledge of international, federal, state and local regulations, and pertinent case law.
· Enter tax adjustments based on appropriate documentation.
· Recommend projects and system initiatives to improve compliance and efficiency.
· Efficiently and accurately research issues related to the Company’s business activities.
· Prepare and complete all international components of the quarterly and annual provision for income taxes, including foreign affiliate tax provisions, E&P and tax pool calculations and Subpart F calculations.
· Prepare and complete all international components of the US federal income tax returns, such as Form 5471, 8865, 926, 5713 and related workpapers.
· Reconcile year end balances to current open balances.
· Respond to tax authority information requests to assist with federal and international tax audits.
· Analyze audit results to minimize tax impacts to the company.
· Create reporting processes to ensure future audit compliance.
Experience.
· Four year college degree or equivalent tax experience required; advanced degree preferred.
· CPA or CPA-candidate preferred.
· 3+ years’ related experience, “Big 4” or large corporation preferred.
· Exposure to international compliance required.
· Knowledge of U.S. income tax principles relating to foreign subsidiaries.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent written communication skills to clearly document research tax research findings.
· Time management skills required to perform multiple and diverse duties with rigid deadlines.
· Intermediate Excel user.
