The Dow Chemical Company has a Senior Electrical Engineer position available in Texas Operations - Instrument and Electrical Technical Services. This position is located in Freeport, Texas.The Senior Electrical Engineer will function as an Electrical and Instrument Reliability Engineer for the Texas site.Candidate will participate on several site reliability initiatives which involves electrical and instrument equipment. Responsibilities include: Work on team to address plant shutdowns due to electrical and instrument equipment failures Develop standardized motor repair reports and implement to Dow's motor repair shops Perform analysis of motor repair data Work with plants to troubleshoot problem electrical and instrument equipment Work with electrical and instrument suppliers to troubleshoot problem electrical and instrument equipment Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required 3+ years of Electrical Power Equipment Experience required Strong initiative and team leadership capabilities required Strong interpersonal relationship and time-management skills required Strong written and oral communication skills required Preferred Requirements Experience with 480 VAC and rectifier equipment Understanding of instrumentation Programming Understanding of reliability fundamentals
