REFINERY - DESIGN ENGINEERING MANAGER - MECHANICAL ENGINEER
A large oil refining company is in search of a proactive Design Engineering Manager committed to continuous improvement and to teamwork, who thrives in a fast paced and collaborative work environment. Supervise and manage the mechanical, civil, structural engineers and piping designers in their tasks to develop, design and construct projects that can increase the profitability, reliability, environmental compliance and safety of the refinery. Provide mechanical design overview for all other teams to insure that new installations and repairs are being completed per sound engineering principles and industry standards. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering - Ten years petroleum refinery experience with at least five years in a supervisory or management role - Working familiarity with applicable Industry Codes & Standards including ASME Section VIII, B31.3 and API and OSHA 1910- Ability to handle multiple projects with various priorities simultaneously while maintaining status, direction and cost control Company offers a competitive salary, benefits and relocation package.
