QUALITY MANAGER
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee the quality assurance activities in their manufacturing plant in Texas .
The Quality Manager will work closely with all functional groups within the plant to design and implement quality assurance programs and procedures.
The Quality Manager will develop and implement training programs on quality-related systems and procedures, including compliance with TS 16949.
This high-visibility position is ideal for an aggressive, goal-oriented Quality Manager who is seeking a challenging opportunity to develop and implement quality programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position is located in Texas .
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Work with senior business and production management to assure that appropriate and practical quality assurance programs are in place to assure the superior customer satisfaction while optimizing costs and profitability. Oversee the Quality Management activities in the plant. Supervise laboratory activities in collecting quality-related data, maintenance of laboratory equipment.Develop and implement laboratory analytical procedures used to assure acceptable quality.Develop and implement Quality Assurance programs and procedures for the plant. Work with multi-functional teams within the manufacturing facility and among the management team to develop and implement quality initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:BS in Engineering, Chemistry or related field.5+ years laboratory experience5+ years supervisory experience 5+ years experience in implementing and maintaining quality systems in a production environment. QMS/ ISO9000/ TS 16949 auditor training.
