Process Operator/Lab Tech-Mechanical Aptitude

Kelly Scientific Resources is currently recruiting Operators to work at our customer's production facility. Our customer's facility is currently located in West Houston, but they will be relocating to East Houston within the next year. The typical job duties for the position include a balance of lab skills, chemical process skills, and mechanical skills to include working with hand tools. The Operator will be required to operate several production and post-production units simultaneously and therefore must be capable of multi-tasking. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of process operations experience and an understanding of process concepts such as temperature, pressure, and flows. In addition, candidates should have knowledge of basic lab measuring devices such as balances, thermometers, temperature controllers, and flow meters. This position requires working a rotating 12 hour shift with some overtime to include extra weekends and evenings. This is a temporary position that is estimated to last 6 months with the possibility of extension. Pay range is $15-20 per hour based on experience.
