Services include scientific and specialty consulting as well as all aspects of engineering and construction, and operations & maintenance.
Pipe Stress EngineerResponsibilities:The responsibilities of the Pipe Stress Engineer shall include but may not be limited to the following:Review of piping Design Detailed Pipestress calculations where necessary Documentation Liaison with other disciplines Ensuring compliance with Codes and Company Procedures.
Pipe support design and drafting, Expansion joint specification and procurement, Liaison with and visits to other engineering offices and / or sites
Requirements:4 years Pipe stress, of which 2 years on Caesar2 - design to B31.3 code. Degree qualified or equivalent, Chartered or working towards this. Use of visual inspection or Caesar2 methods to carry out Pipe stress work (statics and dynamics) Ability to use standard software programs (word, excel, acrobat) for documentation of the work Good general piping design knowledge Good knowledge of the B31.3 piping design code Good general mechanical design knowledge Good standard of verbal and written communication in English
