PROJECT ENGINEER - I/E
TAYLOR & HILL INC. is the leading provider of engineering services and experienced plant personnel to the refinery/chemical manufactures in the Houston and Gulf coast area since 1974. Our culture fosters a responsive, credible and ethical environment.
We are in the process of looking for some Project Engineers with I/E and heavy power experience for the Texas City, TX area with the following experience:
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Project Engineer is to ensure the technical integrity of the project, including compliance with the project scope, job specification, accepted good engineering design and meeting the client's requirements. The Project Engineer must also be thoroughly familiar with the project schedule, budget and project procedures. This individual is typically responsible for serving as a project engineer on large projects or numerous smaller projects. It is an administrative position requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in the coordination of the various aspects of a project operation. Will be responsible for supervising the work of other project engineers on a task force.
Training and Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 20 years experience and B.S. degree, preferably in an engineering discipline. Experience in the EPC industry or in the refining/petrochemical industries is preferred and technical execution of projects is required. Job position requires that the PE be responsible for multiple small cap projects and interface with the client on a daily basis. Must possess a track record of increasing project responsibilities. Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
