Manager - Planning Administration

Univar USA, North America's leading chemical distributor, currently has an opportunity for a Manager of Planning Administration in our Bellevue Office. You will be responsible for budget administration, quarterly forecasts, P&L, balance sheet and ration related analyses. This position is responsible for maintaining Univar's Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications, and ensures the business unit's Hyperion Planning needs are met.

 

Requirements of this position include: Strong analytical skillsThe ability to work with detailed information, while also being able to perceive and define the larger/underlying issues and drivers.The ability to coordinate and direct diverse resources required for completion of tasks/projectsResponsibility for/participation in the development of financial and/or other types of decision-making models.General business experience, preferably distribution industry experience.Accounting/finance background including understanding of management accountingAbility to understand the link between the accounting and systems aspects of the positionAssess the needs for new Hyperion modules or software applications to interface with the existing Hyperion applicationProject-oriented to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of new sofware productsProject management skills and experienceRequired Education/Training: Four year degree, preferably in Business or Finance, from a fully accredited four year institution CPA or advanced degree preferred General management training Project management training Minimum 3+ years of financial systems experience Experience in the use of Hyperion applications Strong PC, spreadsheet and database skills Minimum of six to eight years general business experience with a track record of continual promotion to progressively more responsible positions.
