As our expenditures with third parties represent BPs largest cost by far, Procurement Supply Chain Management (PSCM), is recognized as a main value lever for the company. Initiating effective management of supply markets used by contractors to provide goods and services needed to conduct business is critical to BPs success. Seismic technology and services is one of Exploration & Production's (E&P) key global market sectors. The Seismic Sector is highly dynamic, experiencing rapid change and increased demand and has an important and highly visible role in optimizing global reserves. The Senior PSCM Specialist will draft contract strategies, go-to-market documents, evaluate proposals and negotiate third party agreements covering seismic data acquisition and processing agreements consistent with the strategy and resulting in risk appropriate implementations.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Global Procurement & SCM Specialist - Seismic, applicants must have:- Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer- The willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position- Minimum of a University degree (Four year / Bachelor's degree) - Significant experience setting contract and negotiation strategies, drafting, evaluating, awarding, negotiating and working with contracts- Highly competent working with legal language and adept at identifying and resolving key commercial issues and gaps in agreements- Possesses a relentless commitment to excellence and to meeting business objectives- Demonstrates self-assurance when working autonomously, at times under high-pressured and fast-paced circumstances - Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective interaction with personnel across all levels of an organizationSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Houston, TXJob Number: RUSABP2254-617675Company Profile:Our business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy. BP's Exploration and Production segment focuses on finding reserves of oil and gas, developing the means to extract and process it and then consistently producing and transporting it to market. BP E&P Global Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSCM) is responsible for working with Strategic Performance Units (SPUs) and other functional groups to maximize value delivered from expenditures with third parties. PSCM provides procurement and supply chain management for oil and natural gas exploration, development and production and related transportation and processing activities. The PSCM function is envisioned as a key lever to provide a significant contribution to BP's bottom line and is in the midst of implementing a new Strategy to enable BP to meet its targets on cash costs, capital expenditures and production.
