This individual will be responsible for managing technology decisions for JDI’s Servers, Storage Systems and personal computer etc. The individuals set enterprise standards for related management these technologies, version management and appropriate decommissioning of the non strategic technologies. He/she will provide input for defining I.T. Infrastructure policies including security, long term capacity planning, and disaster recovery and business continuity planning and will constantly align the I.T. architecture vision and strategy with the strategic direction of our business. He/she will evaluate the scalability of an application based on the requirements from the regions/functions into the beginnings of business solutions and input into selection of vendors and products to meet business requirements worldwide.  This role will also be responsbile for the oversight and strategic direction of our LAN/Wan enviornemnt, Firewalls, DNS/DHCP etc.  Additional responsibilities include: Review project ideas and provide technology input, prescribing appropriate network and Telephony configurations that will balance business requirements with JohnsonDiversey technology standards to arrive at the optimal solution. Monitor and provide input at key checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and continuously refine overall Network and Voice architecture in support of our business.  (This is business critical service with spend of $6-7 Million / year) This includes critical areas such as security and audit related matters in addition to setting the strategic technology landscape. Define, document and communicate infrastructure technology standards. Provide Upgrade strategies, Capacity planning and Disaster Recovery planning for the servers, storage and personal computing devices. Provide guidance to “Run” organization for solving complex technology operational issues.  Participate in strategic sourcing process for acquiring Infrastructure technology assets, Voice, Data and infrastructure services, including selection, negotiations and contract finalization. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (electronic or communications),  or related field 5+ years Information Technology management Experience of participating in major networking project as analyst, architect or technical lead.  Experience in working with international Networks and service providers. Experince with Cisco Product, VoIP etc Understanding fo Directory Services (AD, DNS & Dhcp (MS/BIND/CNR), Virtualization etc and their impact to Networks and Security. Experience working with cross functional and global team.
