Dairy AshfordSuite 606Houston,TX 77077 Phone: 281-496-0803 Fax: 281-496-4705 Electrical Designers Leading Houston Engineering and Construction Company is in need of Electrical Designers.  It should be stated that this is a very hot order.  Company will provide feedback within 24 hours for interview and/or hire.  Refinery, Petrochemical experience required. Microstation or PDS Raceway experience required. Responsibilities/Requirements: -Minimum 2+ years 3D PDS and Microstation -Knowledge of design practices, and industry standards IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, OSHA, etc. -Understand interdisciplinary coordination requirements with various disciplines, to collaborate on deign in designated areas -Review of vendor drawings and other discipline's documents -Able to generate calculations to use as a basis for design -Knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts, reading of drawings, and reproduction methods used by the discipline -Knowledge of the standard deliverables within the Electrical discipline -Knowledge of electrical physical design for cable tray systems, lighting, grounding, hazardous area classifications and underground ductbank and trenching systems -Work independently in the preparation of complex designs from which detailed construction drawings are completed -Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures -Prepare calculations, design models, drawings and design documents -Responsible for the accuracy of bulk material quantity take-offs and material requisitions for materials applicable to the discipline -Work with designers in other disciplines to coordinate overall design and technical requirements -Responsive to work plans, budgets and schedules for basic designer tasks based on input and direction from supervisor in designated discipline -2D and 3D Computer Aided Design skills using PD Draw and OrthoGen extraction modules -Develop design for complete electrical systemsPlease email resume to contract@bergaila.com .   Bergaila & Associates, Inc. will not discriminate against or harass any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, or status with regard to public assistance or any other status protected by law.
