Director of Procurement - Travel & Property

Description:The role will be responsible for managing BPs third parties across a portfolio of categories to ensure that in the short and long term the provision of goods and services is fit for purpose and cost effective whilst minimizing risk to the business. Indirect Procurement delivers value to BP through effective implementation of market-facing strategies, which are developed from its deep understanding of the interplay between BP's demand and the supply markets. Value and risks are managed through the identification and use of supplier relationships where BP's scope, scale and buying power have been optimized. Further, Indirect Procurement's efforts are supported by a suite of procurement process and systems that allow for effective market engagements, contract development and management, purchasing activities and supplier relationship and performance management.
