Design Draftsman

 

Merpro is a 29 year old U.K. based supplier of process equipment with primary activities in the upstream oil & gas production industry.  Merpro Americas, Inc., established in Houston in 2002, has successfully introduced the Merpro technologies for sand handling, oil/water separation, produced water treatment and gas treatment systems into North & South America.

We are looking for a Design Draftsman with a strong work ethic to be responsible for AutoCad and mechanical design and drafting and liaison with Engineering Staff in understanding calculation requirements and applying project specifications, including national and international standards in the preparation and revision of accurate engineering drawings.

 

Duties & responsibilities:

 Prepare preliminary sketches, schematic diagrams, assembly drawings, detail drawings & piping isometrics.Manage workload in order to plan, organize and prioritize to ensure all document submission/issue dates are maintained.

 

Key criteria include:

 Must be proficient in AutoCadStrong P&ID experienceExperience with ASME pressure vessels, structural steelwork and ASME pipingWorking knowledge and fluency in the Microsoft Office suite of applicationsPreferred experience in 3D modelling
