C/S DESIGNER

We are in the process of searching for Civil/Structural Designers with refinery experience for the Texas City and Pasadena, TX areas with the following experience:

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:  

The primary responsibility of the Civil/Structural Designer is to apply principles of plant design under the direction of the C/S Design Engineer.  This includes, but is not limited to, utilizing AutoCAD (often leading less experienced designers), estimating man-hours, selecting materials, writing job specifications, and being knowledgeable of C/S codes, specifications, and standards. 

 

Training and Experience: 

This position requires a minimum of 10 years experience or 8 years with an Associate's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.  Experience in the refining/petrochemical industries is also preferred.
