The TERATHANE Intermediates facilities consist of Butanediol, Tetrahydrofuran and TERATHANE products. The site is located adjacent to the city of Houston Texas. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Indirect Field Cost (IFC) Controls Administrator for the Gulf Coast Region* Liaison to Site's Maintenance Departments* Support Project Cost Analysts at Victoria & Orange sites* Oversee indirect field cost process for Texas Gulf Coast sites* Contract Administrator for IFC process* Monitor Internal Controls and Security for IFC process* Assist with project overflow work for Gulf Coast sites* Prepare IFC monthly and distribute IFC budgets for Gulf Coast* Prepare actual vs budgeted IFC spreadsheets* Process and submit invoices for payment* Create requisitions Site resource for sales tax* Assist site with external auditor requests* Provide historical IFC data* Monitor and reconcile sites over/under suspense accounts* Perform annual payroll audits for site resident contractors* Reopen SAP workorders* Assist site project cost analysts as needed by opening and closing projects, verifying WBS elements, etc EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:* Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting* 3+ years manufacturing accounting experience including batch, cost accounting, contract audit and public accounting activities* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel* SAP experience* Demonstrated excellence in communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.* High degree of integrity - will conduct all business affairs lawfully and with integrityEXPERIENCE PREFERRED:* Experience in an Operations FacilityPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:* Must be willing to work periodic workdays in excess of eight hours* Must be willing to relocateAdditional Skills and Aptitude Desired:Inquisitive - willing to look beyond the surface to understand root cause and secondary effects.Creative Thinker - ability to develop alternative solutions to complex problemsBusiness Oriented - business professionals who have acquired a good understanding of the accounting functionHigh degree of integrity - dedicated to conducting all business affairs lawfully and with integrity.Drive - Motivation and ability to add value to the company.
