Description:*We have two positions available. These positions are offered as full-time or part-time (at least 20 hours per week)An internship with one of our offices can offer you not only broad based exposure to our industry, but also experience that will be useful when selecting a career. With our Transportation Logistics Internships, we can expose you to a number of different areas, such as personal selling, distribution management and customer service. The goal of this 'World Class Internship Program' is to offer you a challenging learning opportunity and to enhance your potential to become a member of our CHRW team upon graduation - thus our internship position is very closely based on our full-time Transportation Sales position. Our Transportation Sales team provides C.H. Robinson's logistics services to businesses with all types of freight. Transportation sales people are in daily contact with customers (shippers and carriers) of various sizes who outsource to C.H. Robinson.As an intern, you will get exposure to:- Sales and purchasing - Financial management and account receivables - Logistic management and transport economics from a 3rd -party prospective - Carrier management - Distribution patterns, tracking and tracing - Logistic information systems We are looking for current UNDERGRADUATES at a Junior or Senior Level - individuals pursuing a Business, Logistics, Supply-Chain, Communications or related major is a plus. Internships are available full-time during summers, part-time and/or full-time during the school year.
