Marketing Administrator - Exceptional Opportunity
One of the country’s leading players in residential and commercial flooring distribution is seeking an experienced Marketing person to provide the tactical marketing and sales support efforts as this professional works directly with our very savvy senior management team. Our marketing effort deals primarily with crafting and sharing the message and opportunities from our many flooring vendors and our hundreds of dealers across the Western US.
We are seeking someone with a degree and at least 5 years of marketing experience. A background in the flooring or construction industry would be a plus, but it is not a requirement. What we do need is someone who will be willing and able to grow into our senior marketing position that will handle the strategic marketing planning currently driven by the senior executive team. You would need a demonstration of sales and marketing support with a clear understanding of marketing fundamentals, excellent communication and verbal skills, the ability to manage relationships with our vendor’s marketing/advertising agencies and proficiency in the MS Office suite of software products.
We consider this an important position and a valuable addition to our team. We are offering a handsome base salary plus performance bonus, full medical, dental, discounted vision, 7 days paid vacation year one increasing to 13 days year 2, paid holidays, 100% vested 401K plan (eligible after 1st. year, life and accident insurance, flex-spending account, and the option to purchase any of our flooring products at 10% above cost. May we say that for the right person, the compensation plan will not be an issue.

This individual will have a staff of 2-3 people and will be responsible implementing our proven multi-step marketing approaches via conventions, trade shows, product roll outs and special vendor driven promotions as well as creating new and updated brochures, flyers etc that are distributed to our dealers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for cross training the staff around the marketing efforts
