Training Components:
During your training you’ll gain valuable experience through computerized and on-the-job training for all aspects of managing, lending, servicing and collecting. The duration of the training program is driven by the geographic location. We have 1600 branches across the U.S. and opportunities in all of these areas. Some branches experience high growth, where potential may indicate a fast track to become a manager within 12-16 months. In other areas the lending laws are more in-depth and might indicate a 24-30 month program. However, the key to the training time is your drive to succeed and advance.
Trainees will:Build solid relationships with customers and employees, develop, manage, and operate a branchBuild sales skills and business development experienceLearn about AGFS financial services; becoming an expert in order to effectively recognize customers needs and provide solutionsGain experience with evaluating loan applications, risk analysis, and credit decisionsLearn how to administer loan closings and routine collection activities
At the completion of the training program, you will be prepared to lead and develop a team of engaged employees in our branches, champion the ultimate customer experience, build current and new customer relationships. At this time, you will be promoted to Assistant Branch Manager. To progress, applicants must be willing to follow their dreams to a variety of destinations where the best opportunities arise.

Primary Responsibilities:
As a Management Trainee, you will learn all aspects of:Consumer LendingAuto FinancingHome MortgagesHome Equity LendingUnsecured LoansDebt ConsolidationRetail Financing
You will be responsible for handling a loan through the entire loan processing cycle. You will meet with retailers in the community and develop ongoing merchant relationships; showing them how we can help them increase their business by offering financing to their customers.
Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Candidates must possess:High energy and a drive to succeedStrong interpersonal and communication skillsThe desire to work with peopleSales and leadership ability or experienceProven problem-solving skillsA four-year college degree OR a minimum of three years’ relevant work experienceFlexibility and ability to relocate within a limited areaWilling to work hours that can include some weekday evenings and some weekend hoursThe ability to pass a credit and criminal background check
