Instructional Designer
Management Concepts, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Instructional Designer to join our Management & Leadership Division. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing content and learning experiences to address government, commercial, and non-profit client needs in the division.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate on project teams to design and develop leadership and managemet content and learning experiences for a variety of audiences and delivery methods.
Lead and manage multiple projects.
Assess and clarify client business needs and specify project scope and requirements.
Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning
Perform other duties as assigned.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge and application of instructional design and principles of adult learning.
Analytical skills.
Problem solving and decision-making skills.
Organizational and planning skills.
Writing skills.
Creative thinking skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills.
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Strong internal and external customer orientation.
Quality focus.
Computer skills, including Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Bachelor's or Master's degree with specialization in instructional design, adult education, or a related field.
Formal training in instructional design required
Minimum of two to five years experience designing and developing participant-centered, applied learning solutions.
Experience with leadership and management topics preferred
Experience using learning technologies a plus
