As one our Business Analysts, you will be coding HTML, writing requirements and testing our Individual Medical proposal software and web quoting applications. You will be leading technical projects from a business perspective while working closely with our Information Technology department. We will look to you to gather and document requirements regarding upcoming product changes, coordinate the implementation and testing processes within stated deadlines, and successfully deploy software. You will also be a primary contributor by preparing test plans, executing software and website tests, coding HTML output reports, and resolving software errors by working closely with other members of the Individual Medical Product team as well as IT, Actuarial, Marketing, and various other internal departments. We will look to you to facilitate meetings with other departments to further define requirements for the multiple websites and software used by our agents and consumers. We will look to you to implement process improvement initiatives as well as train agents on changes to our applications.  Frequent interaction with sales agents, sales partners, and internal users is a critical part of the position to support Assurant Health objectives and results. You will also provide functional support to the Sales Agents in regard to our supported applications by trouble shooting issues and questions as well as facilitating occasional training sessions. Use your Business Analyst skills to organize and manage multiple projects while using your above average computer technology skills. The ideal candidate is both team and detailed oriented, must be familiar with software development methodology, and is proficient in HTML coding, Microsoft Office Products, Visio, Excel and JavaScript. You will use Visio to update or create screens for existing applications. You will use Excel to define the business requirements related to these screens. You must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work with multiple levels/departments within the company.
