Job Description
I. Company Description
a. Location: Nashville, TN
b. Overview: United Record Pressing, LLC (“URP”) is the largest manufacturer of vinyl records in North America. Formed in 1962 URP presses records for most major music labels including Universal Music Group, Sony/BMG, and Warner Music. Internal operations include record pressing, printing, plating, packaging and shipping. Additionally, the company operates three other lines of business: a vinyl record wholesale distribution business, an on-line retail business selling vinyl records and accessories on the web, and a graphics business that provides photo retouching services to the music industry.
c. Ownership & Objective: URP is owned by an investor group led by Crossroads Capital Partners, LLC (www.crossroadscp.com). The Company’s Board of Directors is looking for a motivated, experienced individual that can provide leadership and “execution expertise” in the areas described below. A potential equity opportunity exists for the right candidate capable of making a long-term impact on the success of URP.

II. Position Description and Responsibilities
a. The person hired for this position will work closely with URP’s CEO and its Board of Directors to provide leadership in the following areas:
i. Financial Reporting and Control. Institute / upgrade and manage accurate and timely financial reporting and control processes.
ii. Performance Measurement. Work closely with CEO and VP Operations to develop and implement operational performance tracking tools to enable timely assessment of performance against cost, quality and service objectives.
iii. Administrative Function Management. Manage key administrative functions: order entry, customer service, billing and collection. Lead initiative to upgrade technology and systems supporting functions.
iv. System Upgrades. Assess current information systems, develop plan and lead implementation of a cost effective upgrades.
v. Lender / Investor Communication. Provide monthly MD&A and quarterly Board of Directors information packages for URP’s lenders and its investors.
vi. Senior Management. Integral part of the senior management team with critical input into all aspects of the business.
b. Reporting relationship: Direct report to URP CEO and its Board of Directors
III. Qualifications of Candidate
a. Education: Undergraduate degree from a 4 year institution a degree in accounting and finance. CPA designation preferred
b. Experience & Skills:
i. 5 -10 years of cost accounting and financial control leadership, preferably in a job-shop oriented manufacturing environment with obsessive focus on cost, quality, and service
ii. Information Systems & Technology
1. Experience in cost effectively assessing and implementing ERP system needs and improvements appropriate to the scale of the business
2. Comfort with technology to be a collaborative critical thinking partner with business mangers in all areas
3. Technology procurement (purchase of software and hardware in a corporate environment)
4. Ecommerce experience a plus
c. Other important characteristics:
