Technical Director

CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):NBC Universal's Studio Operations is looking for a Technical Director to support MSNBC. This is a great opportunity to work with the best in the business in a live 24/7 news environment.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:Build video and graphic element effect timelines and switch multiple sources for live, fast-paced news oriented programs. The TD may also serve as Crew Chief and TD/Direct news cut-ins or breaking news that occurs during the overnight or evening hours.Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience using production switchers, DVEs, stillstore systems, DDR's and patch bays.Minimum 5 years of experience in a live studio production environment.

Must be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be willing to work in New York. Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.Desired:Ability to think quickly & keep pace with fast moving shows. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle pressure in an on-air environment.
