Senior Application Developer (MS Back Office) - ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#

Our client in Horsham is currently searching for a Senior Application Developer for their Microsoft back office systems. Primary Responsibilities: As the lead (or only) member of an applications development team: · Analyze existing business processes, designing automation where necessary. · Interact with internal clients and external organizations to create requirement specifications.  · Design, build and maintain complex Web and Interactive TV applications. · Responsible for users’ problem reports, performs problem analysis and implements solutions on complex software applications; leads team of developers in diagnosing and implementing solutions to complex system-level problems.  · Participate in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle.Qualifications: Minimum 5-6 years developing applications using a broad based variety of Microsoft technologies: C#; ADO.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Classic ASP and VB6. Required experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/ XML & SQL. Desired experience: AJAX, Web 2.0 development; Experience in Oracle development environment; SQL Server is a plus. Excellent knowledge and demonstrated application development experience for Windows in the following areas:  GUI, Web, Web Services, and Middleware. Design and write highly modular object oriented code for maximum reuse and extendibility. Experience in building quality code adhering to standard coding practices. Ability to translate business objectives into programming initiatives and requirements. Work in a fast paced continual learning environment.  Requires ongoing independent education with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues. Proficient at project and resource management. BS in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience. Experience in cable TV, Video on Demand, on-line advertising,  **This is a permanent position.
