Are you launching your speaking career or just looking for a flexible part-time job that has potential to grow as you wish?  Work for Making It Count, a division of Monster Worldwide, the company that launched an industry, and see how far you can go!  As an independent speaker for Making It Count programs, you will serve as an integral member of the largest speaking force in the country.  Making It Count speaks to more than 2.5 million students annually through our 45-minute presentations offered to high schools and colleges.  We’ve built a business on helping students achieve academic and career success through the art of “edutainment.”  Do you have what it takes to empower and entertain?  Are you ready to take your speaking skills to a whole new level and a whole new audience?   If the answer is “yes,” become a Making It Count speaker.  We are currently recruiting speakers for our upcoming programs, Making You College Search Count and Making College and Career Count, for high school juniors and seniors.  To become a certified speaker, you must learn two provided scripts prior to attending our all-expenses paid professional training.  Once certified, all speakers are hired as independent contractors and are not eligible for benefits. The average speaker will deliver approximately 10-15 presentations per semester depending upon the following:  School needs Level of your speaking ability Your availability and flexibility (travel, driving, overnight trips and flights) SPEAKER CRITERIA:  Associates or Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement) Strong stage presence and image of professional success Excellent public speaking skills Ability to speak to and engage large (100 – 800) audiences of students and educators Vocal projection and variance Flexible schedule during school hours Immediate access to email and the Internet Reliable transportation Ability and willingness to travel up to three hours by car VIDEO PRESENTATION TIPS (  What to do and what not to do)  KEY TIP:  We are looking for strong, upbeat, energetic, relatable, conversational speakers from the moment you begin your presentation!  We also want to see that you hold this energy throughout!
