Music - Finance Manager - 70 - 75k + bonus
Recording label of leading, global music/media conglomerate is seeking an addition to their finance group - ideally 4+ years experience, similar industry or public a plus.
Position will report to the Director of Finance and be involved in the following:
-Preparation of sales forecasts through discussions with label sales, release planning and finance personnel to gain an understanding of the upcoming release schedule, pricing/marketing strategies, and configuration mix.
-Preparation of the annual business plan and monthly P&L forecasts through communications with label and finance personnel and other departments to gain an understanding of marketing spends, artist recording and joint venture agreements, and other operational issues.
-Preparation and review of monthly financial reporting package for senior executive label personnel including label performance, sales, P&L, marketing, marketplace statistics, etc.
-Train, supervise and develop junior staff members
-Other ad hoc projects pertaining to artist contracts and new releases.
