Job responsibilities: Provide front line supervision to ensure Account Executives (AEs) achieve assigned sales objectives and budgets. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Implement and ensure compliance with advertising sales objectives; Monitor the AEs in all areas of their daily assignments; Recruit, train, motivate, develop, coach and mentor a team of AEs into a cohesive unit to increase productivity and exceed minimum sales requirements; Ensure AEs have a clear understanding of the marketplace including demographic profiles, competitive media, strategies, and territorial growth potential; Conduct weekly one on one's and annual performance evaluations. Hold AEs accountable to standards and start performance management in conjunction with the Area Sales Manager if standards are not met; Create and review monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals for AEs; Demonstrate and ensure compliance with all sales training programs; Assist the Area Sales Manager in development of budgets; Responsible for meeting or exceeding all budget and performance standards set by your market leader; Coach and train all AEs to open, probe, support customer needs and close business; Assure AEs meet minimum team activity requirements per market; Meet budgeted revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; Ensure 100% of AE activity standards are met; Manage A/R for your office and your direct reports; Maintain staffing levels at 90% or above; Conduct formal one on one's with each AE on a regular basis; Adhere to all market standards for account list management; Maintain a written plan of development for each AE; Creative selling and effective use of research, sales and marketing tools; New business development. Adhere to all Comcast safety policies, OSHA, and FCC compliance requirements and regulations

Required Skills:
Experience: Four years sales management and/or media sales experience. Education: Bachelors degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Experience in internet sales; Strategic and consultative selling ability; Ability to motivate others and work under pressure; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Ability to keep abreast of competitive conditions; Possess business savvy. Previous media sales supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
