Bexel Seattle is currently seeking a dynamic sales person. The candidate will be a top performer and preferably have sales experience in the broadcast and production industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an ‘inside sales’ position. Establish accounts for new clients who want to rent our broadcast equipment. Complete all necessary paperwork related to setting up the account.
Talk to clients to determine their rental needs and submit bids for prospective jobs.
Ensure that equipment orders are coordinated with other offices and departments. Review all paperwork related to the order – purchase orders, vendor receipts, freight bills, etc.
Interact with customers after job is completed to gauge performance and fulfill future orders. Resolve customer disputes. Attend production meetings and site surveys as required by special projects and live event opportunities.
Grow, maintain, and evaluate sales pipeline.
Review bids and quotes for financial integrity – review cost margins on sub-rentals and freight.

Network. Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Two years minimum sales experience. Must be able to quickly grasp the “Bexel value chain”.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
Experience in prospecting, networking, and qualifying customers.
Knowledge of audio, wireless audio and video equipment and its functions/applications.
Knowledge of the broadcast and production industry. Having established contacts is a plus.
Knowledge of computers and related spreadsheet and word processing software is required. Experience with salesforce.com is a plus.
Ability to analyze, solve problems, be productive and remain calm in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
College degree in related field.
