Director of Finance Local Integrated Media (LIM)

CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Finance Director will have overall P&L responsibility for the LIM team. Team is responsible for building, operating and selling the NBC Television stations' news websites and generating additional digital growth platforms. Position will be co-located and embedded with operational integrated digital media team communicating and working directly with Product, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and Technology teams. Partnering with SVP of LIM team. Act as primary liaison between operating unit and NBC Local Media Finance Organization.Establish and manage sales metrics and mechanisms for growing digital organizationFinancial modeling of key potential dealsWork closely with NBC Stations on digital media idea collaboration, performance and reportingOwnership of all key financial reporting associated with LIM department. Such reports include:* Consolidated forecasting process, weekly, monthly, quarterly;*Quarterly close process including pacing and submission materials*Annual and long-range plans*Capital planning, reporting & analysis *Variance analysis - Risks / opportunities Communicating and working closely with business line operating and finance leadsPrepare and present executive level presentations Leading business reviews to analyze results and key informationSynthesize and articulate key findings as appropriate for Operating, Finance, and Executive audiencesPartnering with Finance / IT groups to define and implement systems improvements, finance and operating dashboardsQualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field requiredMinimum 5 years of finance and business experienceAdvance MS Excel skillsEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV on-line to be considered (note job#: 845388).
