CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Green Is Universal(GIU) is NBCU's ongoing pro-social platform to bring a sustainability & environmental perspective to everything we do: informing & entertaining our audience while greening our own operations. Position reports to VP, GIU & Chair of Green CouncilWork w/ NBCU's cross-functional Green Council; provide strategic/creative oversight over mktg & promos. Assist w/ commun. pertaining to GIU initiativeResp. for dev'pt & execution of cross platform mktg opport. & consumer & trade advertisingWork w/ external/internal resources to ensure seamless integration of GIU brand across business & w/in paid media platforms, interface w/ NBCU divisions & outside strategic partnersEngage key functions across org. wherever GIU can create new business valueDev'p strategic partnerships to advance business & sustainability goalsEvolve GIU brand & partner w/ prgrmng & ad sales to find/create innovative opp. to optimize revenue & drive awarenessSuccessfully interface w/ external partners & divisions in NBCU family, representing GIU strategic point of view & create right presence & cross promo opp. w/ other propertiesContribute to strategic planning, creative dev'pt, media planning & implementation of ad campaigns to promote GIU across NBCU platforms & w/in external media environmentsIdentify/execute unique & new mktg & promotional platforms to activate platform that is cost efficient/effective & positions GIU brand as entertainment leader w/in the green spaceManage internal/external agencies in design & creative dev'pt & execution, media planning & buyingAnalyze market-trend resrch & competitive landscape to maximize effectiveness of mktg initiatives; determine areas of opp.Provide comprehensive eval.s & recommendations of GIU initiatives on quarterly basis; present post analysis to VP & sr. mgmtSupervise "Green" team membersMaintain/manage budget: tracking & allocationQualifications/Requirements:A minimum of 7 years in a fast-paced television marketing environmentPrevious management and corporate experience a mustSolid understanding of the entertainment and media industry, including on-air promotions and ad sales marketingEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 838131).
