Complete new installation of cable in our residential and apartment markets. ? Activate/deactivate previously- wired homes and apartments. ? Install converters, VCRs and other subscriber equipment. ? Perform service upgrades and downgrades. ? Other duties as assigned PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? High School diploma or GED. ? Previous installation experience preferred but not required. ? Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. ? Ability to effectively present information to customers. ? Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. ? Ability to solve problems. ? Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. ? Ability to interpret instructions - written, oral, diagrams or schedule form. ? Ability to work with little or no supervision. ? Must be able to safely handle and climb an extension ladder. ? Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and climb poles. ? Valid driver's license with good driving record. POSITION: Direct Sales Representative ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: ? Responsible for canvassing door- to-door during hours and days specified by Supervisor as needed to achieve sales goals. ? Responsible for upgrading existing customers and sales of non-subscribers. ? Meet weekly performance standards as specified by Sales Manager ? Present product and price in the manner prescribed by the company. ? Represent the company in a professional manner. ? Report daily as specified by Sales Manager. ? Complete all reports on a timely basis and attend all scheduled meetings. ? Follow through on all orders. ? Maintain reliable transportation. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? High School Diploma or GED equivalent ? 2 - 3 years experience in office/sales environment. ? High level of self-motivation. ? Ability to work in extreme weather conditions ? Ability to effectively communicate with external customers and fellow employees. ? Must have reliable transportation and good driving record. POSITION: Customer Service Representative POSITION SUMMARY: Customer Service Representative positions available. Representative is required to listen and answer customer questions regarding cable, local phone, and Road Runner service, sales and billing, as well as providing basic technical assistance and excellent customer service. Position is 40 hours per week and will include evenings, weekends and holidays. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: ? Answering phones professionally ? Processing payments ? Selling Cable service ? Closing out completed work orders ? Calling delinquent accounts ? Resolving customer complaints ? Working within and adding support to empowered work groups PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? Excellent telephone and communication skills ? Must have previous call center experience ? Must have previous door to door experience ? Ability to work within a group, adding support to achieve group goals and objectives ? Excellent problem solving abilities ? Working knowledge of CRT ? Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude ? Telemarketing experience ? Must have a High School diploma or GED ?
